Day one of the Supreme Court hearing on the individual mandate set forth by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Affordable Care Act) has come to a close.

The United States Supreme Court (USSC) will be hearing oral arguments challenging the constitutionality of the individual mandate set forth in the 2010 Affordable Care Act and the provisions requiring states to expand Medicaid eligibility.  Due to high demand from the public, the USSC has decided to release audio recordings and transcripts of oral arguments immediately following the sessions.
